GOLF SWING MASTER KEY 1
The most IMPORTANT part of the whole swing is the area known as IMPACT.
This is the top key, and you have to know how to get there, and what it looks like, and feels like to you.
I will show you how to get there.
If you do not know the direction you need to travel, how can you arrive at your destination, with any certainty or any consistency.
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE .
You are going by car to a destination, you do not know precisly where it is, but maybe once you get in the general area you will find it ! Well you hope so, if you do not you will end up going round in circles, then what?
FRUSTRATION SETS IN.
So you need a road map, checkpoints that you follow, leading you step by step along the correct route to your destination. This builds your confidence, and removes any doubt in what you are doing.
Which in this case is arriving at the correct IMPACT ALIGNMENTS.
This is what I am going to show you, give you your own golf map, and the knowledge to build yourself a powerful, repeating swing.
This is a journey where you will start to understand the KEYS to make your swing efficient and repeatable.
We must take our time on each step, before you move on to the other MASTER KEYS of the swing.
There is no quick fix, you will need to make time to PRACTICE, to rehearse your movements, until you can get some CONTROL and PRECISION.
This does take consistent practice, work slowly and be patient, it will be well worth it.
Let me show you the MASTER KEY IMPACT ALIGNMENTS
The Address alignment
|The Master Key 1 Impact AlignmentAs you can see the shaft is leaning forwards, the left wrist is flat. The club is driving down through the ball and the low point of the swing would be in line with my left shoulder. The weight has moved across onto my left sideSo address and impact are NOT the same.Try rehearsing this alignment many times, so you can sense, feel and see the difference, you must start building this into your swing. This is crucial to improving your game.|
|Hands driving the club downwards into the ball. Right arm still slightly bent, both arms will be straight just after impact not before. Spine angle maintained through the impact zone and into follow through till waist high.Right foot rolling onto the instep as weight is transferred into the left side.CONTACT ME David Bown PGA Professional AA Authorized Golfing Machine Instructor07973 746872 email firstname.lastname@example.org|
